Linksys ATA

An ATA allows you to plugin your traditional phone and use it to make calls via the VoIP network.

1) Step One - ATA

Get the IP address of your ATA by dialing: **** (four asterisks)
Then dial: 110#
You will be told the IP address of the ATA, write this down, as we’ll need it later.

2) Step Two - ATA

Open your favourite web browser and in the address bar enter the IP address of the ATA (as gathered in step 1)

3) Step Three - ATA

On the top right of the page, click on “Admin Login” and then “Advanced”. Once done, click on the “Voice” tab and then Line 1.

4) Step Four - ATA

Change the following fields:
Proxy: sip.earthtel.com.au
Display Name: Username (e.g. 50030000)
User ID: Username (e.g. 50030000)
Password: Password
Register Expires: 3600

5) Step Five - ATA

Click “Save Settings”. Now you’re ready to make phone calls.
